Policy Development/Review and Resource Mobilisation

SIAPAC has provided technical assistance for the development and review of social policies, strategies, guidelines, plans of action and other tools that guide social development. Considerable experience has been gained in the health and social welfare arenas in this regard. SIAPAC is also skilled in policy evaluation, considering the impacts of policies and other tools on social development. More broadly, SIAPAC has supported implementation of a human rights based approach to planning and implementation, in recognition of the central importance of people as decision-makers.
